Apple King's Cake! The "Galette des Rois" (nut-free)

 Behold our King's Cake! The "Galette des Rois" as it's also known, is traditionally shared at Epiphany, on the month of January. ⁠

The cake is made out of a puff pastry and filled with homemade Apple sauce, vanilla and apples chunks.⁠ It also comes with a "trinket" (la feve in French) that you can hide inside! Whoever finds it first is the king and wears the crown!⁠
